History
The 1 Veteran Foundation was started with an idea. In November of 2015 when we applied for our 501c3 with the IRS
Our mission is to help American Veteran who are dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), by providing a service dogs at little to no cost to the veteran.
In our 1st year since we have opened, our goal was to train five service dogs to help
our veterans. We ended the year with eight service dogs trained, and two placed with their veteran.
We want to raise awareness of the struggles that veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) deal with daily.
Our goal is to put a stop to veteran suicide.
We are a non-profit group who helps veterans dealing with PTSD to receive a service dog in Southern Arizona.
